Jon Abernathy, an Indiana native, is a 1983 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. Upon graduating, Jon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Wesley W. Ratliff of the Indiana Court of Appeals. He then entered private practice and joined Goodin | Abernathy LLP in 1985.

Jon’s practice concentration is in litigation, with an emphasis on commercial, insurance, and personal injury matters. He has tried jury trials in state and federal courts throughout Indiana. Outside the practice of law, Jon has served on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County and he provides legal services to the organization.

Jon, his wife Lee, and their three daughters reside in Noblesville, Indiana.
